The Lyric Faculty Poetry Contest is inviting submissions of poetry (traditional style) from undergrad college students who are attending full-time a U.S. or Canada-based online contest faculty. First-place poet win a cash prize of $500, plus publication; second-place receives $200; and third-place receives $100. College students and school of College of Hawaii-Manoa can enter Hawai'i Evaluate's free poetry contest known as the Ian MacMillan Contest in Poetry.<br/><br/>A second place finalist will win $250, and a third place finalist will win $150. Poets who reside in North Carolina can enter the NC Poetry Contest for an opportunity to receive a cash prize of $500 for the very best poem. This contest is open to emerging poets who have not had a ebook of poetry published by a press.
